Dylan grew up surrounded by many artistic mediums from many notable artists, but ceramics always stood out as a primary interest. After an extended hiatus from the craft, Dylan began taking classes at Claymakers in January 2024. These classes reinvigorated their passion, and led to a new love of throwing on the wheel. Their time at Claymakers led to Dylan feeling a push to pursue the craft further, eventually leading them to Studio Maypop. Dylan is currently learning about and exploring soda firing and is very excited to continue to grow through David's teachings.
